About Me.

My name’s Brittany, and I’m the Owner & Founder of AJ Lawson Designs, now AJL Studio, a Melbourne-based interior design company built from the ground up by our passionate team of four.

We live and breathe design, and you might even see some of our upcoming work featured on Channel 9’s Dream Homes Revealed.

I graduated from The Interior Design Institute in 2022 equipped with all the enthusiasm and skills to make an impact in the world of interior design and have never looked back.

Creating beauty that excites the senses is my jam!

The Build & Design Guide
The Build & Design Guide
$39.99

Everything your builder won’t tell you, your trades forget to mention, and your architect assumes you already know.

Created from years of real project experience, our Build & Design Guide walks you through the decisions, details and planning that can make or break a build or renovation.

From planning your layout and setting a realistic budget to selecting finishes, lighting, electrical, cabinetry, fixtures and fittings, it helps you understand what needs to be decided, when it needs to happen and what to consider before you commit.

It’s designed to help you ask the right questions, avoid costly mistakes and variations, and make confident decisions before work begins - rather than discovering things when it’s too late or too expensive to change them.

A practical, designer-led roadmap for building or renovating - before you spend a single dollar.
